Vaccine Information Statements (VIS)

VISs are information sheets produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The handouts explain the benefits and risks of a vaccine. Statements are available for most vaccines and in many languages. Federal law requires that VISs be handed out whenever (before each dose) certain vaccinations are given.

“Fragile Lives—Immunization at Risk” Video

"Fragile Lives" is an independent film written, produced and directed by Jenny Barraclough. Executive producers include: Scott Wittet, PATH's Children's Vaccine Program, with WHO and UNICEF as production partners.

Filmed on location in Africa, Asia, and Europe, "Fragile Lives-Immunization at Risk" brings to life the human face of immunization, its promises, and its challenges.
