About us

The Philadelphia Immunization Coalition (PIC), a nonprofit organization, is an active group of individuals and institutions dedicated to promoting immunizations for the residents of Philadelphia County. Our members represent the community, health care practices, hospitals, schools, public health departments, professional organizations, community-based organizations, and corporations.

PIC is involved in all aspects of immunization by:

  • Providing up-to-date information about vaccines, recommendations, and registries.
  • Collecting and distributing best practice guidelines for immunization education and delivery.
  • Designing projects based on the needs of Philadelphia-based immunization stakeholders.
  • Promoting in-depth study and discussion of immunization issues, including policies and practices, distribution of vaccine, and education of the public and healthcare professionals.
